He is one of those "cool" dads that you never forget when you are younger. He came home from work one evening (about 20yrs ago) and we were up to our necks in grease and oil trying to put hydraulics in my car. We thought he was going to come un-glued because we were just going to town making the biggest mess. Instead, he pulled apart the 220v AC on the dryer circuit and helped us rig up the Arc Welder so it would work. We got the hydraulics done and i never forgot that night. Just wanted to say thanks! Also, to clarify, i wasn't living "on the streets"....but i was living house to house with no place really to go. I think i even got to live at their house for a few weeks back in those crazy days.
